Ashley and Derek’s fall rainy day wedding was a beautiful and intimate affair. The couple exchanged vows in a traditional church ceremony, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Despite the rainy weather outside, the church was filled with warmth and love as the couple said “I do.”
The ceremony was followed by a fun and lively reception at The Mill Lakeside Manor in Spring Lake, NJ. The venue is one of our very favorite local venues and it was the perfect setting for the couple’s portraits and reception, with its stunning waterfront views and elegant atmosphere. The architecture allowed us to shield our couple from the rain and gave us beautiful indoor alternatives. Before we knew it, it was time for the reception, which of course featured delicious food, flowing drinks, and plenty of dancing and laughter.
The Mill Lakeside Manor was decorated with fall-inspired details, including rich autumnal colors and warm candlelight. The couple had chosen a rustic-chic theme for their wedding, with a mix of vintage and modern elements. The reception was very cozy, intimate, and perfect for a fall rainy day wedding!
Overall, Ashley and Derek’s fall rainy day wedding was a beautiful and memorable celebration of their love. Despite the rainy weather, the couple’s love shone through, and their wedding was a true reflection of their personalities and style.
